Really wierd. You have posted the Australian website. I'm looking to see the entry for George Tonning 1827, BUT I can't find him on the UK site.

Sorry, Phoenix, I did post the Australian link but have changed it to the UK one now. It's because FMP are convinced that I am in Australia and so they always send me the Australian links in their emails!

Here is George Tonning (on the UK site):

Brilliant, thanks, Kite.

I don't think all the records can be online yet as I've found several references to George Lanning in Westminster Archives - and I'm hoping to discover where he moved after the scandal of the murder in Marylebone in 1851!

The Westminster Rate Books (also on FMP) list a George Lanning at 19 Whitcomb Street, St Martin in the Fields in 1854, and then he is replaced by a James Brooker.

There are also some new Westminster burial records, mixed in with the existing ones here...http://search.findmypast.co.uk/searc...inster-burials

Worth checking even if you have found burials registers before, as I've just found some burial fee records for St Clement Danes which contain more information than the parish register, including age and cause of death.

I need a brain transplant:o I can see I've already looked at that.

On the up side, I've found his future wife in Manchester rates books :)

These have now been added to Ancestry:
