Mr Pet Liddiard listed in the Walcot rate books 1775.
Peter Lidiard listed at St James St 1781.
P Lidiard listed in the rate books at Gerrard Street, St James, 1790.


Thomas Lidiard wills listed on the Bath Record Office index - one in 1794 and one in 1796. Perhaps a relative?

This is a possible burial for him (from FreeREG):
Peter Lidiard of Bath buried 25 Dec 1797 St John the Baptist, Batheaston, Somerset

At last I have found his baptism, thanks to first finding him on FreeREG as a witness to the marriage of a Robert Lydiard in 1765, and then finding a public tree on ancestry which had Robert and Peter as brothers. The tree owner had very kindly explained how to find all the records on FreeREG - Peter's surname is spelt as Leedet on his baptism, which I would never have thought of!
