I found a baptism for another possible child - John Edwards baptised 10 Aug 1823 at Bethnal Green St Matthew, parents John and Mary, abode Dog Row, father's occupation Seaman, but it gives his date of birth as 5 Jul 1818 which would make it impossible to be Sarah's brother as she was born 20 Apr 1818. I see you already have this on the thread for John Edwards' wife Mary.

Also the previous baptism entry (same date) is for a Sarah Edwards born 18 Apr 1823 daughter of John and Sarah of Dog Row, gun maker. Then there is a baptism 8 Jul 1826 of John Edwards born 2 Mar 1821, parents John and Sarah of Dog Row, gun maker. Why didn't the John and Sarah couple have their son John baptised at the same time as their daughter? All very confusing.

Sorry i should have said I saw that discrepancy only the other day and I had thought I had got it wrong originally spent a long time looking at it but I now think the registrar has made a mistake on those baptisms but not sure how or what.
