Jane Wilkinson

daughter of Thomas Wilkinson and Mary unknown, born 4th Jan 1845, Ludborough, South Linkshire, England.

(that is from an old hand written list taken from a Bible somewhere). I presume it is South Lincolnshire??

Married Ephraim Mundey, 14 May 1864, Ludborough, South Linkshire.

Died 15th Feb 1932, Gladfield, Qld, Australia.

I must buy some certs....

In 1881 she says b Wykeham, Lincs and is aged 37.

In 1851 she says b Wycham, Lincs and is aged 7, so I think the dob MAY be a year off as there is this reg, which looks hopeful:

There isn't a reg in 1845, though of course she may not have been registered.

The witnesses are not transcribed. Their conditions would appear to be bachelor and spinster as anything else would be transcribed.

1871: RG10; Piece: 3426; Folio: 50; Page: 7

1881: RG11; Piece: 3264; Folio: 9; Page: 12

Maybe they left the UK between 1881 and 1891? I can't find them on the 1891.

Was Laura born in Qld 1904 and died 1959??

If that Laura is yours, she is my mother in laws aunt. I don't have anything much later, but can take you back a long way.
