This looks like Hannah in 1901, with Stephen Lawrence:

1901 Census
LAWRENCE, Hannah
BRAMLEY, Yorkshire (West riding)
RG13 piece 4210 folio 148 page 32
11, Wortley Lane Hougomont Place, Wortley
LAWRENCE, Stephen Head Married M 32 1869 Striker At Leeds Forge Halifax Yorkshire
LAWRENCE, Hannah Wife Married F 33 1868 Knaresboro Yorkshire
ARYES, Samuel W Brother-In-Law Single M 19 1882 Labourer In Fitting Shop Leeds Yorkshire
ROBERTS, Sarah A Boarder Single F 23 1878 Woollen Weaver Ossett
Yorkshire

Did she have a brother Samuel? The surname isn't mistranscribed - this is how the census has it, but probably Hairyes misspelt.

No children given.

1891 Census
LAWRENCE, Hannah
BRAMLEY, Yorkshire (West Riding)
RG12 piece 3679 folio 60 page 34

Another of Hannah's brothers with them.

3, Smith Court, Gelderd Road, Wortley, Leeds
LAWRENCE, Stephen Head Married M 22 1869 Labourer In Iron Works Halifax Yorkshire
LAWRENCE, Hannah Wife Married F 23 1868 Woollen Weaver Knaresborough Yorkshire
HAIRYES, James Brother In Law M 12 1879 Scholar Leeds Yorkshire

zoenel 16-01-12 17:32

apolgies everyone shoulld have mentioned I started the thread on genes reunted then passed it on because the basic question I asked on genes hasnt been answered as such.

who were the desendents of hannah hairyes? they ave managed to find the same as i allready new which was jim born leeds 1902 . then they have found out about the lawrence family. I allaways find this site the better of the two.so thought Id try here.please help

ElizabethHerts 16-01-12 17:46

Jim might be the only child and any descendants from him.

I have looked for Lawrence/Hairyes births from 1912 in the Yorkshire area and there aren't any.

In 1918 when she remarried she would have been about 49, so I wouldn't expect any children from that marriage.

very intresting thankks! is there any marriage or children or a death for jim himself or any clue of where hannah lived when she died. any idea of a birth or death for henry beanland hannahs 2nd husband?

i forgot to say my reson for searching for hannnah and children is that thanks to the kind people in here im now in touch with hannahs and stephen and lawrences relation from ancestry ! and she doesnt know anything either so thought id try and help. many thanks as allways from Zoe
