Now wondering if there is any connection to another line I'm researching, the Rapleys of Shipley, Sussex.

He was a labourer, and is mentioned as such in his uncle Richard Rapley of Dallington's will - thankyou Sussex Maid for helping via pm on this. He was left an annuity of £10 a year.

No connection at this stage with the Shipley Rapleys.
