Additional Communities

Anyone any idea how Ancestry calculates this?

My aunt has masses of links to Newfoundland, but has no "additional communities" shown.

I, on the other hand, have Southern Ontario highlighted. This is quite feasible, since tranches of Norfolk villages were shipped out there in the 1840s and 1850s. But the examples chosen have demonstrated links through the three other grandparents - and those who went out did so probably in the 1920s. (Though, of course, they may have married into well-established families)

Looking at those who have ancestors in Ontario, most have closer relations with my aunt than me.

There is some info on here:

Which is as clear as mud.

I have no ancestors in Ontario. My DNA may be of interest to those who currently live in Ontario, but not the other way round. I assume this is simply generic migration from southern England.
