The IGI lists a baptism for Alice Hart 27 Mar 1870 at Deane, Lancashire, parents Daniel Hart and Ann, but it's one of those "I" batches. GENUKI says that Westhoughton is in the parish of Deane, so I would think that's her.

I only went back to Alice for this thread and found I had very little info.

On the 1871 census she is with her mother and grandparents. Her mother is listed as a widow. I'm just ordering her parents' marriage cert for 1868.

Did Edward and Alice have any children?

Yep...I have 11 children for them. My husband's line is George Mundey and Christina Siebenhausen.

I have some certs for the Harts as well now. Yes....quite a bit....looking back at how old this thread is..
