Ammanda, Is this the father of Bridget McCrohon nee Balkin?
If it is, I thought his name was John, as is on her Death Certificate, or is the Death Cert. wrong?
By the way, I have a photo of Bridget Mc as an old lady. if you would like a copy.

Thanks Julie. I think I have a copy of the same picture, if it is the one of her on the porch.
I do not have a copy of her death certificate. I thought that the Bridget McCrohon who died at St Leonard 1922 was the daughter of John McCrohon and Bridget Balkin born 1875.
A Balkin researcher gave me a file of the family and I have used that as a source. It is quite confusing as they use the same names, in that Irish way, over and over by generation.

Ammanda, I am going to be away for a week, so I will look up my file when I return and let you know what I have. I don't think I have the death cert for Bridget, but the index as you have noted. Therefore where Edmund/Edward fits in I'm not sure. I think I have Bridget's shipping too somewhere. If I remember correctly I wrote to the RC church at Maitland to see what it brought up for parents but they did not have the details. Cheers Julie
