I've only just noticed this and not had a chance to play with it yet, but I'm not sure what the point is of this when the actual wills are searchable and viewable for free on the National Library of Wales website? This new database does include administrations and I'm not sure whether those are on the NLW site, will check tomorrow if someone else hasn't by then!

I notice it has "New" beside these, and they are searchable.

Nice. Thanks, Elizabeth. Much easier to search than on the NLW site. By the way, I see I never did follow up about whether admons are on the NLW site but they don't seem to be.

Yes, Kate, I was really excited, but not all the wills I already have are on there, which is a shame. Some of my Neath wills are missing.

The wills are much easier to read on ancestry than on the NLW site too.

Just noticed they (on ancestry) are indexed by the date the will was signed rather than the date of probate, or at least the ones I have looked at so far are.
