Searching on SEAX Essex Archives

Is there anyway you can search the parish registers with more advanced terms, the search function I can see at the front page is basic and the advance option isn't much better.

I don't think so, but just wanted to say it isn't called SEAX any more, Maggie - it's Essex Archives Online now. You have to search on another site such as Ancestry, then go to Essex Archives Online when you know the parish and date that you want to look at.

Thank you.

I don't think Ancestry have indexed them all. Anyway I have sent for the marriage on GRO now, it may have been a registry office marriage anyway. I find it frustrating that the marriage certs are posted rather than email PDF and takes a lot longer.
