Any suggestions for info on employees of the Jewellery qtr in Birmingham
 

I’m looking into finding any information on someone who may have worked in the jewellery quarter in Birmingham in the 1960’s or 1970’s. Perhaps a trainee or an apprentice.
How would I find anything? Would it be available, even at a cost?

I would imagine it is too recent to be open to the public under privacy rules.

Perhaps try contacting the Jewellery Museum - think its Vyse St, Birmingham.

Unfortunately there were lots of tiny workshops/shops in the 1960's 70's . I recall someone going to get their wedding rings from one of the businesses during that timeframe.
