I looked and thought, no that isn't my Thomas Davies. When I read your intro. you'd think they were, because mine (from Carmarthen) was always known as Davies, but on his baptism he is down as David. Davies, Davis, David they really want to confuse us Sue lol

Daughter Phebe is 2 on the 1851 census, so her birth reg is likely to be "Pheboe" Davis, Jan-Mar 1849 Martley vol 18 p 467. If you get the birth certificate it will give you Sarah's maiden name.

My 2x G grandmother Anna/Hannah was born about 1844 so I will send off for her birth certificate.

I picked on Phebe because I was pretty sure of finding the right one!

Yes I just thought that as well :)
Maybe I will send for Phoebe's instead - or Phebe or Pheboe :)
