If I am reading this right ?
was this man buried in consecrated grounds in West Derby Liverpool - then dug up and then buried in

............my daughter was born in Mill Road Hospital ,West Derby - and Necropolis Cemetery is 100 yards from Mill Road Hospital

if he was dug up and re buried - why ??

It just means his body was brought from the parish of West Derby for burial!

People in Salisbury appear to be buried twice for a similar reason: their deaths were recorded in the individual parish registers, but they were actually interred in the London Road Cemetery.

Yes, I agree with Merry. I have one instance of a reburial - man died and was buried in the chapel burial ground. His widow later fell out with the chapel and had his remains removed and reburied elsewhere. The chapel register records the original burial, then there is a later marginal note which says "disinterred on blah blah date, by order of the superintendent(of the chapel).

I looked to see if his wife was in the same cemetery and she was. There's a photo of the gravestone which mentions several family members. Note Jonathan died five days befor his Bolton burial, so definitely not a re-interment!
