Greek (Suda Bay, Crete) marriages & deaths

Does anyone know where I can find details of marriages & deaths in Suda Bay, Crete from say 1876 of a Jessie Elder Lindsay to a George John Couryer/Kourgerakis (or similar spelling)

Souda Bay is in Chania County in Crete, so you would need to read this:

I did look to see if there was anything listed in the GRO Consular Marriage index on FMP, but there didn't seem to be. I'm sure that had been searched before anyway!

Thanks Merry - I was looking in Ancestry (Prior), where, when you have put in the name for search, it gives you a list of countries to look - or you can look at all countries (which makes it a long search). I wondered why Greece/Crete wasnt there, and wasn't sure which actual country to search - would you know?

I would imagine that's because they don't have any records for Greece/Crete. Why would records be listed under a different country?

I've seen Australia listed under Oceania - (for example)

Sorry Merry

I'll look up the site you sent, thanks.
