I don't think that's them either, probably too young to have a daughter born in 1816.

Margaret in Burton 14-02-11 11:55

I've been looking for that public tree on Ancestry you referred to but can't find it.

The marriage for that couple is on the IGI in 1822, so not yours

Mary was baptised 12 May 1818 at Kidderminster, according to FamilySearch.

borobabs 14-02-11 15:09

It's perhaps not your John then Babs. Your Mary isn't on it. No places or anything. Have you contacted the tree owner to see if they have more info. Looks dodgy to me.

borobabs 14-02-11 15:33

Babs, I checked a question Muggins asked (in Sept) whether old Research Threads would be deleted. Gwynne said (as I recall) that they wouldn't be at the moment and if that changed we would be advised. I went through all my research threads yesterday and copied them. Now I want to print them off, then copy them to a memory stick. B....r house work lol

borobabs 18-02-11 00:13

Right so I have still time to do same as you ,,over the weekend if I get some peace ,,,thanks Julie ,,,

tenterfieldjulie 18-02-11 00:34

Babs, I'm not sure how you are meant to do it. If it helps I went into Members List. Clicked on my name. Clicked on Statistics. Clicked on Find all Threads started by (me). Then Iworked my way through what I wanted to keep and hadn't done so previously.

Margaret in Burton 18-02-11 05:56

I think research threads are permanent.

tenterfieldjulie 18-02-11 06:44

I was amazed Marg at how much I had accummulated in less than 6 months. I now have to follow up on all the leads. I've been like a child let loose in a lolly shop.
The following was what I was quoting in order to answer Babs. My interpretation is that there are no plans to delete anything but the options are kept open.

"Site Help 29/8/2010

Deletion of threads on the Research Board.

From - Muggins in Sussex

Are there any plans to delete some of the older threads on the Research Board ?
-------------
Not at the moment, Muggins, we'll let you know if that changes.

Gwynne"

Been looking for this family again in 1841 to answer Kate re Sarahs age on my John thread and have found this family
Source Citation: Class: HO107; Piece: 997; Book: 1; Civil Parish: Rowley Regis; County: Staffordshire; Enumeration District: 2; Folio: 41; Page: 26; Line: 10; GSU roll: 474625.
Dont know how near Rowley Regis Staffs is to Worcester

kiterunner 19-05-12 22:50

The Mary in that family is too young, isn't she?

borobabs 20-05-12 07:24

No I have my Mary down as about 1818 so only slightly young Kate, my Sarah is abt 1798 this one 1796 ????

kiterunner 20-05-12 09:54

There is a baptism on FamilySearch for Mary Haden 13 Apr 1823 Rowley Regis, parents John and Sarah. So I don't think that family is yours, sorry, Babs.

borobabs 20-05-12 11:03

Oh dear back to the drawing board for me , thanks Kate for your input dear ;;much appreciated
