Name - "official" name and what they were known as: Hannah Birks

Date and place of birth: 1792c in Masborough near Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Names of parents: Unknown

Date and place of baptism: Unknown

Details of each of his or her marriages: 21st February 1813 at St Peter & Paul (Cathedral), Sheffield, to Joshua Beckitt. Listed as a Spinster and 'of the parish'. The two witnesses were resident witnesses of the Cathedral at this time.

Occupation(s): All census no occupation but oddly is listed in the Whites 1857 Trade Directory for Sheffield as a Cutlery Founder of 12 Carr Lane (home address).

1841: Carr Lane, Sheffield. Born in County
1851 - 1871: 12 Carr Lane, Sheffield.

Date, place and cause of death: 23rd March 1875, Aged 84, at 12 Carr Lane, Sheffield (this info is on her burial record).

Date and place of burial: 28th March 1875 at General Cemetery, Sheffield.

Details of will / administration of their estate: None Known.

Memorial inscription: None; another memorial that fell victim to the mass destruction of grave stones at this cemetery in the late 1970s :(. I do know she is buried with her husband, 2 of her children who never married (Eliza & John Beckitt), and 3 grandchildren (Aloizy & Getrude Chryst, & Emily Karpinski).
