Just checked Ancestry. There are public trees for Elizabeth Whitney. However, they have year of birth 1708 in Wexford and her husband as Thomas Lett. Place of death is New Ross, Indiana, 1813, aged 105. The children they list are: William (1750), Thomas (1751), John (1752), Richard (1752), Ann (1753-1844), Elizabeth (1754) and Charles (1763-1853).

Thanks Shona .. they are probably right . husband was Thomas, she probably died at New Ross in Wexford (not sure where the Indiana came from) and was buried in the family plot at Horetown, or else as she didn't have a headstone elsewhere, her name is on this one.

There is a New Ross in Indiana, as well! Someone must have made an error and it was copied. Checking again, howevewr, one of the trees does say Horetown, New Ross.

Thanks Shona. I have a huge book on the Lett/Leet/Leetes world wide .. but sorting it is another matter.
