1921 AngloCatholic Congress Oxford

I am currently in the final stages of completing a biographical directory of the 1100 odd participants at this congress. It had taken over three years to get to this stage, beginning in early 2016 with the participant list which had the priests initials, surname and the place he enrolled from. We have managed to sort out all but 4, two we have identified the man and his career from 1920 onwards, and 2 we have failed to identify at all, and still only have the information from the participants list.

If anyone wants a challenge, I will post 4 threads with the information that I have on each of them, and see if you can find anything more!

We are just doing the final tidying up of the entries before it will go on line at Project Canterbury, and then we will start the first review and go through all of them again and stuff in more family information!

As we worked through it became more and more obvious that many of these men came from large clerical families including C of E priests and Anglican nuns. Where I have tripped over them, I have put them in, but I want to go back and more consciously look for them, especially the women religious who are generally overlooked.
