I'm actually going to be away but wanted to put this up as I know nothing of this lady, except her marriage and burial dates and I'm hoping somebody may be able to find something.

Thanks for the responses. I've tried a lot of the Essex registers without success yet, but I hadn't thought about the widow angle. Once I'm back home, I'll see if I can find a Loker marriage on SEAX that might fit. Egerton Philbrick's siblings (he was the eldest) all did quite well (physicans, lawyers) but Egerton's children became gamekeepers and labourers, which makes me wonder if he had a falling out with the family...
