1901 and Birth Registration help please
 

I have Owen Powell marrying Mary E James in Newport Montgomeryshire in 1920. I don't have the cert.

I have them in 1939

I think this is him in 1911

Can't find him in 1901 or a birth registration that fits or a death for that matter. His wife died in 1955 in Newtown.

I can find a death for a Morgan Owen Powell in 1991 but the date of birth if way out year and date.
Also a birth for Owen Samuel M Powell that fits that death.

Anyone find anything that fits better?

Now I have his fathers name, Benjamin, a farmer. I have found him in 1901. Benjamin O Powell. Obviously used his middle name.

Birth reg

Benjamin Owen Powell Sep qtr 1895 in Newtown. That fits.

Glad you saw it, Marg. I knew recent events were on FMP as I have just done a big, exclusively Welsh, tree for a friend and lots of the later marriages were there.
