Hospital admissions

I am researching a great-aunt Edith Annie Sharratt born Q1 1888 in Meols, Wirral, Cheshire.
Baptised 21 Mar 1888 in Meols, Wirral, Cheshire.
Living with parents in Meols, Wirral, Cheshire, 1891 census.
Died Q1 1900 Lancaster Registration District (aged 12) and then body returned for burial 29 Jan 1900 in Hoylake, Wirral, Cheshire.

I would think she was too young to have been working in another houshold and am not aware of any other relatives in the Lancaster area who she may have been staying with.
I am assuming that she may have been in a hospital/institution?

I believe on Ancestry you can check certain hospital admissions? If so, could someone please do a lookup for me (I only have FMP)?

I have ordered her death certificate to see if that gives me any info.

Thank you in advance, John.

GRO uploaded the wrong certificate. I received a birth certificate from Q1 1901 for someone else when I had requested a death certificate Q1 1900. I've triple checked and I did enter the correct details so will have to wait for the correct one now.

I also ordered a marriage certificate hoping to follow a hunch, but it turns out to be the wrong marriage.

Which leads me to ask is there anywhere on here that people can give details of certificates they have but do not want, in case they may be of use to someone else? Or is this not preferred?

Hi John

Over time there have been various certificate exhanges set up, but they tend not to reach many people. What about putting a postem on freebmd? (Check their rules first!)
