I can't get the prison records to give me results for my people. :(

It doesn't include the Bristol area; could that be why, Kit?

Perhaps they were all too well behaved?!!

ah, no. One was transported to Australia, so not well behaved.

I'll go back through my information and work out what's going on.

Still no Bristol and Westbury images. :(

Bristol isn't included in Gloucestershire Archives, James, as they have their own. But there are Westbury images in some of the databases.

I did see a few, yeah, but I thought it may have been Westbury-on-Severn.

Westbury-on-Severn registers are deposited at Gloucester. Holy Trinity Westbury-on-Trym registers are deposited at Bristol and like the Bristol registers are not included in Ancestry's agreement with Gloucestershire Archives.
