Default Betty Houghton

Name - "official" name and what they were known as Betty Houghton, Elizabeth on some censuses
Date and place of birth About 1820 Pickup Bank, Broughton, Lancashire
Names of parents Richard Houghton, labourer, and Peggy Duxbury
Date and place of baptism - if applicable 7 Nov 1821 St Mary the Virgin, Blackburn, Lancashire
Details of each of his or her marriages - if any 12 Jun 1842 Haslingden Register Office, to Edmund Taylor, witnesses Robert Heap and John Pearson. Age 21, spinster. Residence Shoe Mill near Accrington.
Occupation(s) - if any Cotton weaver
Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!).
1841 - Woodnook, New Accrington, Lancashire
1851 - High Street, New Accrington, Lancashire
1861 - 31 Grange Lane, New Accrington
1871 - 51 Grange St., New Accrington
1881 - 49 Grange St., New Accrington

1891 onwards - not found
Date, place and cause of death Not found
Date and place of burial. Not found
Details of will / administration of their estate - if applicable Not found but very unlikely
Memorial inscription - if any Not found

Birthplace is Musbury on the 1851 census, Accrington on the 1861 and 1881, and Over Darwen on the 1871. Husband's name is sometimes Edward, sometimes Edmund. I found a possible baptism for her - 7 Nov 1821, St Mary the Virgin, Blackburn, parents Richard and Peggy, abode Pickup Bank, but father's occupation is weaver. Also Edmund and Betty waited till daughter number 5 to name a Margaret and I would think if her mother was Peggy, they would have named an earlier one after her.

I've found the Richard and Peggy family in 1841 (baptisms for Edward, Roger and Thomas on Lan OPC also give abode as Pickup Bank, father's occupation weaver, so it is the same family as the Betty baptism)

Woodnook, New Accrington
Richard Hoghton 42 Weaver Y
Ann Do 31 Y
Betty Do 20 Cotton Doubler Y
Edward Do 17 Cotton Weaver Y
Rodger Do 15 Cotton ??? Y
Thomas Do 13 Do Do Y
Alice Do 9 Do Tracer Y
John Do 6 Y
Sarah Do 3 Y
Mary Do 8 months Y

Can't work out whether this is my Betty, though.

Shoe Mill is in piece 506 book 1 around folio 41 but I can't see any Houghtons there.
