Default the elusive James Robins c. 1802-c.1868?

James Robins
birth 27 Aug 1802
baptised 21 Sep 1802, St. Sepulchre, City of London
Parents: John & Sarah, family address Fleet Lane

Mariage to Priscilla Marsden
10 Feb 1822 St. Botolph Bishopsgate

James' occupation and address as recorded on the baptisms of children
1823 Angel Street, clerk
1824 Monkwell Street [near Barbican] clerk
1826 - 28 Peerless Row, clerk
[1830 Robson's Directory lists Robins, Jas, furniture broker, 30 Old Street
1832 Union Street, Hoxton, broker
1835-1842 Old Street Road, Hoxton, broker

1841
no trace of the family, apart from the elder daughters Jane and Priscilla, who are staying elsewhere. Lots of areas of Finsbury/Old Street are missing.

Occupation as listed on children's marriage certs:
1846, 1847, 1851, 1852,1861 paper stainer

1854 servant

1861 paper grainer

Censuses

1851
James' wife Priscilla is head of the household, no sign of James elsewhere

1861
Priscilla is still head of household, still no trace of James

1871
Priscilla Robins is recorded as a widow.

Have not definitely found James' death.

Possible burial:
Islington Cemetery, Finchley, North London James Robins of 11 Sidney Street, Islington, aged 68, buried 02 Sep 1868

The age fits, the area isn't unlikely, but not definite. Sidney Street was off City Road, which isn't far from Old Street. Have not found alternative candidate on census.
