Not known, but resident on Isle of Man between 1817-1824, and resident in Liverpool between 1824 and 1834ish Date, place and cause of death Not known but died between 1834 and 1841, possibly Liverpool, possibly Isle of Man Date and place of burial. Not known Details of will / administration of their estate - if applicable Not known Memorial inscription - if any Not known Notes: William and Catherine had six children, three born Isle of Man and then three born Liverpool.[COLOR="red"In 1841 Catherine is a widow and looks to be lodging on the Isle of Man with an unrelated family. The children are scattered around Isle of Man and Liverpool. I cannot define a baptism for William Grimshaw as there are simply too many. Going by naming patterns, his parents should be William and Jane. |

No, not too early because I just don't have any clues about William at all, other than he must have been over 21 at marriage in 1817. Thanks for looking though - I have a feeling the only way I will ever break down this brick wall is by sheer luck, not by conventional research. OC |
